Allium sphaerocephalon

The name of this Allium is probably the most difficult name I had to memorize in agricultural school. And writing it down without spelling errors, was just as hard! This Allium is also known as ??¨°drumstick??? (in Dutch Trommelstok) ??¨¬ which sounds much better to me. A relatively inexpensive bulb that brings a very special, decorative touch to your garden. Drumsticks already bloom when most other plants are still fully green with no flowers. Planted in large quantities, nicely loose in your border, they will bring you lots of joy.
